How does payment work?

The total project fee is split into two payments. A deposit of 50% is required to get started. The remaining 50% will be when the project is complete, at which point all final brand files will be delivered.

Can you just design a logo for me?

The short answer is no. Your logo is an important part of your brand but it's one small piece of a much larger picture. My process is designed to give you a complete identity that functions as a system, in which every piece plays a role in your business strategy. There are plenty of designers out there who will sell you a logo and call it branding. That may be the cheapest way to get started but it's just not the same as building a purposeful and memorable brand that sets you up for success. Without that strategy, many business owners end up spending more trying to market a brand that doesn't work for them.

How long does the process take?

Assuming timely responses and limited revisions, the branding process should take about one month. That month includes strategy sessions, concept development, brand design and client review.

Do I need to know what I want before we start?

Nope! That’s what I’m here for. The discovery and strategy phase will help us figure out what your brand needs to communicate, who it needs to connect with and how we can make that happen. You bring what you know. I’ll help you figure out the rest.

Do you provide the files I need to use my brand myself?

Absolutely. Your brand package will include all the various files you need to bring your brand identity to life across your business. You will also receive a comprehensive brand style guide, so you know how to use your new identity effectively and consistently. The goal is to leave you with a brand that you feel confident using on your own.

There’s more to crafting a brand than drawing a logo. Through a process of discovery and strategy, we will get clear on who you are, what makes you different, what you want to be known for and who you want to reach. I will filter these insights through market research, cultural references and your own personal aesthetic to define a visual direction for your brand. This is where your brand comes to life. For the last phase, I will translate everything into a brand identity that feels true to you. You will walk away with a full suite of custom brand assets that you feel confident using on your website, social media and in print for years to come.
